Disappearing "web-sites" in your posts...

I wanted to address the issue of web-site posting in your posts.  Many of you have written to me and said that it's been deleted or comes out as *****.  This is done automatically in the MedHelp system.  There are also "monitors" or MedHelp Moderators, that monitor the Forum 24/7.  When they see a post that contains a link to a website that is a commercial site, it is usually deleted.  When you post a link that has to specifically do with MS and does not ask for money, it is usually left alone.

Neither Quix, nor I, delete your posts, unless we see a post that has posted twice by mistake or see a post that is an attack on another member which needs our immediate attention.

Please remember that Quix and I are just members, like you.  We are just the "go-between's" with MedHelp to make your forum experience a pleasant one.  If you are having operational problems with the web-site, we encourage you to let us know that you are having problems, so we can get in touch with MedHelp immediately.  We are just Ambassadors of the MS Forum.  Not "Forum Police."  As I said, we are just members, like you.

I know that it can be boring reading, but maybe you can review the "Terms of Use," sometime this week, so you better understand the guidelines of using MedHelp's Forum's.  They really are here to give you a pleasant, safe place to talk about the things that are on your mind about dealing with MS or either your experiences of dealing with the land of limbo.  

We all want you to be happy and feel safe here.  That's the goal of the "Community Leader's" (Quixotic1 and Heather3418) and all the MedHelp personnel.  If you have any questions, please feel free to ask.  If there is something you want passed directly to MedHelp, let Quix or I know and we will get to it as soon as possible.
