I guess this will be my new $6 million question LOL

My husband and father both went home sick from work yesterday (they work at the same place). It seems to be a stomach bug. My Dad has it worse then DH. With DH his stomach feels "off" but he is still eating fine. He does feel headachy and body achy. Last Fall both DH and our youngest son had H1N1. DH said it's kind of like that, but not nearly as bad.

Anyway, yesterday my throat started feeling a bit sore and (to my untrained fingers) my lymph nodes feel a bit swollen. This morning I woke up, and I feel like my eyes are rolling around in my head, you know how cartoon characters' eyes roll around? It is like that, but of course, they are not really moving LOL

The eye rolling feeling is always an early warning sign that I'm going to be dizzy for a few days. Sometimes it is just a slight feeling of dizziness, sometimes it is full on episodes of vertigo.

Now I wait to figure out...is the dizziness because I'm getting sick or is it just my normal occasional dizziness?

~Jess- who thinks MS is like a surprise party everyday...you never know when it starts, how long it will last, and who will show up to crash the party!

Red, Luckily DH isn't like the stereotypical sick man LOL He takes care of himself for the most part, and is very appreciative if I baby him at all. On the other hand, if I'm feeling sick he babies me completely :-)

Michelle, thanks! I do think it was a false alarm. I'm feeling much better today, so I guess it was just a random couple days of the dizziness.

your sense of humour cracks me up about this one!!

i sure hope it is mild, whatever form of vertigo/dizziness might be on it's way, or better yet, that it is a false alarm entirely!!  my fingers and toes are crossed.

Hi Jess,  I'm sorry everyone is home from the flu or bug.  Do you have to take care of your husband?  The fact that he can eat with his 'stomach bug' is just rich.  Do you have to cook for him?

We should  be so sick huh;-)

I don't know if the dizzines is from MS or from the bug that is going around.  I think the only way to know is if you continue to feel like you are getting sick.

Dizziness doesn't usually come with a cold or flu though.  At least I don't think so

Hugs,

Red
