oh, I overlooked telling you we have been discussing this vascular theory here as well - you might want to search this community and read some of our discussions. Just last week we were talking about the new clinical studies being done in New York. - L
Hi nanou and welcome here at MedHelp. I'm just curious what made you look for this old post referencing nitro? Its from before my being dx'd with MS.
BTW, the nitro is still on my nightstand and in my purse too, but I haven't needed it for at least 10 months.
be well,
Lulu
Hi Lulu
I recommend you join the thisisms forum and chek the latested discoveries and studies, related to MS as being a vascular problem and in particular the jugular veins being blocked, so no wonder why nitroglycerin is helping you.
My bp is also low - averages 90/60 but the nitro is for the angina which is not bp related. I find it really knocks me out for a while after I get over the headache .....
If my pain is really MS related and not cardio related, I'm wondering what the nitro is really doing.............

Nope! Not with me. My blood pressure has always been quite low, as well as my heart rate.
