OT - New Grandson!

After a very difficult, complicated labor, Dexter Joseph Dodge was pushed into this world on July 23 at 1:08 am.  6 lbs., 10 oz., and 20 inches long.  Lots of dark hair.  

I got too tired helping Holly hold her knees to push, so another friend helped her husband help her, and I got to coach and watch him crown and eventually join us all out here.  What a joy!

I've been helping with meals, dishes, etc. I'm pooped, but Soooo happy!

Congratulations...you must be so thrilled and what a special time being present at the birth. I had my Mum with me on all three births as well as my hubbie and was thrilled that she was able to share our joy.

We seem to have some very youthful glam grannies and grandpas on this site!

Congrats Grandma! (or will you be a Grammy, Nana, etc?) I love Dexter's name. And, I feel I have the authority to say, only the bestest people are born on July 23rd :-)

What a glorious day when a baby enters the world.  All of the hopes, dreams, aspirations revolving around the infant..........  

And one of the best parts?; being a grandparent!  I have loved all 13 years in my role as GP.
