Duh! I feel silly! I always put everybody to my time. Oops!!!!

Hey, guys, thanks for your concern, but remember the times posted are EST. I am on the West Coast 3 hours earlier. I am rarely up beyond 1am and I routinely sleep til noon! 10 to 14 hours of sleep per night - every night. I may be sleep-logged, but not sleep deprived. So I'm okay.

Hi.
Nice to see you all active in the wee hours..... Over here in Phils it is now nearly 9pm. Have the auditor here so still in the office...
Hope ya'all get some sleep soon.

I know you're off to work, but maybe you'll see this later. Have you considered that all those meds might be contributing to the sleep problem? It's very possible. I'm the type that gets side effects from stuff no one ever heard of. I'm an outlier for almost everything. Antihistamines such as Benedryl wake me up, and so does Nyquil. Go figure. You could be this way too.
I've been on Synthroid for 30 years and it's never caused me any trouble, but I have a friend rather newly diagnosed with hypothyroid who is severely sleep deprived from the med. Make sure you take it in the morning.

Oh yeah, I forgot from my meds synthroid and 2 for GERD...and a partridge in a pear tree:) Now I'm really going to work!

It would be a good topic. I do see some folks who post during the wee hours. I wish I knew if that's what my "condition" is.
I did make some good use of my wakefulness - just did 40 minutes on the treadmill and earlier I did some work on the computer (can access my files from home - lucky me; I can work 24/7, lol). And whoever invented online poker - I could kiss them!!!
Well, guess I'll get showered and get into the office! Thanks for keeping me company

Well, I had a doc who said that after 3 or 4 days of deprived sleep there are definite and negative changes in brain chemistry. He wanted to make sure I got at least 6 hours, and mostly I do, one way or another. These days there are loads of studies and TV blurbs about sleep and lack thereof, so we're not alone.
I do understand about not wanting yet another pill, but still.... Maybe you can figure out which of the many in your arsenal really don't do much and wean off them.
ess
PS Don't know if MS has anything to do with this, directly, that is. Indirectly yes. This would be a good forum topic.
I hesitate to take yet another pill. I am on so many now - half of them I think don't do a darn thing. I have a 3x daily pill for myoclonus, 4x daily one for spasms (as I go through a lengthy period of severe twitches & spasms), 3 different asthma meds, 2 different allergy meds, vitamins, BP med (now that one works great!).... I hate pills. I keep thinking eventually I have to be so tired that I'll actually sleep, but not so far. I guess I'll have to break down and take something here pretty soon. No sleep can't be hlepful to my symptoms.

Not good. Can you get an Rx for Lunesta or Ambien? That's at least a fall-back position.

Me too. I am having that problem lately and don't wish it on anybody. Because of work I can't take a catnap like I do on weekends. Sometimes I crash out for an hour on the recliner with my 70# dog stretched across me like a blanket, lol! Only been getting 3-4 hours at night though.

Hey, Penn. Here I am too. I have to sleep when I can, been that way for a long time.
I too notice Quix on here at odd hours. I hope she isn't sleep-deprived.
