Exactly what I found, Lulu. It took hours to get it straight. why? I told them of my delivery concerns early on, and they basically indicated that it did not matter too much. It is a relief to finally get a delivery method that can meet my needs. You might find, however, that a local pharmacy is willing to couch your delivery.
Most of us have found that even though it suc ks the hours out of a day, the time spent with the pharma companies can yield great results. Often you just have to be doggedly persistant and keep talking until you find the right person who can help.
I have to use the specialty pharmacy and have UPS drop the boxes on my porch. No choice for me through Anthem Blue Cross.
Check with your insurer and see if they work through special pharmacies connected to a local pharmacy branch. Either that or see if you can have it directly sent to a pharmacy you use for all your other meds. I do not know if or how it might affect copays.
Ah, that's great. Aetna makes me order Betaseron through their mail-order, and get it delivered to my house, which means that I never get it on time.
