Update

I know it has been a while since i last posted. I have been a very busy person though. I went and got ALL of my medicle records from every doc i have seen. I put them all together and then set up some appointments to see some more docs. After that i got all of there information and i put it wi5th the rest. then i sent it all to my neuro. Now lets see what he says about all of this.

Anyways i did find out that i do have optic retrobulbar neuritis. what every that is lol. Other then that everyone says the samething. "There is a nuero prob, but they dont know what it is."

Well, just a quick update so you know i haven't forgot about yall

Kenny

Hey Kenny,

Way to take the lead in your care.  I have been wondering how you have been.

I go on May 14 to see Dr.K , I think he wants to move on to Tysabri or Chemo.
I want to stay on IVIG, been working very good for symptoms but don't think it's doing anything to slow progression.

Let us know how it is going every now and then..

PEACE....

Congrats on getting all organized and sending everything to your neuro for review.

I am doing the same thing but have waited so long to do so that I was told when I called that many of my original medical records have been destroyed (they only have to keep them so many years).

My records will never be complete (my fault)  but I am still going to finish this task & like you send them for review to a neuro at the MS center.

Congrats for not dragging your heals & good luck, I hope that you receive input from the neuro that helps you

Erin :)

Its good to hear your update and that you are being so proactive on your own behalf.

So many people here will tell you they had to do so much of the work that the doctors should have done - putting the pieces of the puzzle together so the bigger picture can be seen.

Keep us updated, ok?

Congrats! That is some feat - whew, bet your glad you got that done and over with. What a pain huh?

Well Kenny, you are on your way!

Yea, now lets just see what they have to say about all of this, and the ON too.  Many here have had it.
