What's up this week?

First full week of August is here and I feel the summer days slipping away - how about you?

I already started today with a physical appt with my PCP - I see her once or twice a year whether I am sick or not. She did a bunch of labwork - I need to be sure I'm not incubating some new cootie because I had an elevated temp today -  my normal is 97.7 and I was 99.0.

We have outdoor concerts three nights in a row this week, so I am hoping for this cool weather to continue.  They should be all fun - Happy Together Tour with the Turtles and a bunch of other old groups.  The The Sailrock Concert with Christopher Cross and Orleans, among others.  Friday night is the official Blues Brothers Review, produced by Dan Ackroyd and Judy Belushi.  It was just bad timing on my part that I got tixs for all three - didn't occur to me that it was all in a row.  

Postponed  my colonoscopy until late September so I could enjoy the concerts

Loaded.  Just put truck & trlr in garage, & Nancy's taking me out to eat.  Will buy more tarps on the way back.  Prob won't see.y'all much for a few days.  Peace.

Elsewhere I posted about my trip to Cleveland.  Postponed PCP appointment a week.  Shed can wait.  Praying rain stops before we start loading up for KCMO.  Did I forget anything?

Alex- I have heard of a fabulous new medication to offset the sickness that comes with chemo... Is that an option? Thinking of you :)

For me.... I am just content with my lovely new art on my foot... Inspiring me to keep going.. "One step at a time" :)
I am headed to neuro / ms nurse appt next Monday. Wish me luck to have things go ok... And just get the dmd started already!!
