Hi Shell,
How have you been? I've been such a bouncer in the last 6 months :) never here regularly :)
Yep, gonna give it a try. I am a big believer in the ancient ways mixed with modern medicine. I lucked out and the center I want to try has an offer on living social, so got my first hour visit and consult for only $35 :)
I've done quite a bit of reading and interesting to find there have been actual clinical trails on reflexology and MS. Think I will stick with it for the 10 weeks or so that the studies found maximum results. I'll probably add massage therapy into the regimen between reflexology cycles, haven't found anyone who has a proven 'repeat cycle', but I think we will do 10 weeks, go with massage therapy then revisit the reflexology 3 months or so after that.
Hopefully will have my first visit early next week, I'll post to let everyone know how it goes :)

Hey Jen,
I've not tried it, but would love to!
Getting the therapy order, then writing it off sounds like the best solution to get at least something back. What a great doc you have to know an way and actually say it!
Are you going to try it?

I've tried reflexology. I don't actually buy the premise of how it is supposed to work. It did nothing for my symptoms but was relaxing.
I haven't tried reflexology, but please post how it goes!! I use acupuncture, chiropractic and massage therapy, but haven't tried reflexology. So far I think acupuncture and massage work the best for my MS symptoms. My insurance doesn't cover it either, but I couldn't work if I didn't keep it up. We're going to take it off on our taxes too!
Best wishes to you!!
Chris
