Hi all, well the spasms stopped on their own after about 48 hours. That's good news, I spole to my neuro and he saidit could be the pain meds they gave me, as on top of all this fun with the cortesoin I hsad to have an emergancy operation, which I suspect dident help my sit. At the moment my weird feelings as u could call them are limited to my left arm and left leg feeling slightly dead, not fully buit enough to be annoyting and oh boy the tinnitus, also bad. I am just waiting to see the neuro so he can release me from hospital and I can go home, also sohe can put me on the right treatment at last. Tankyou all for your support I really appreciatyee it

Hope you are feeling better and had a chance to talk to your neurologist.

You might ask/consider that some medications can cause tongue movement, especially some antidepressants, anti-anxiety meds, etc

You are in the hospital for treatment?  Hope the food is good and can get some rest soon.

It can be really annoying.  It sounds like a twitch to me.  I've had similar problems in my face.

I get involuntary muscle contractions of my stomach - very strange!  It's like it's trying to do situps.

This must be going around. Have had the muscles grabbing on my eye lid all week. Thought it was just fleeing and harmless because it's not painful and would leave as it came. But, all day, every day now for a week it's a heck of a distraction to me now.

Hope yours simmers!

Keep us posted as to what your neuro says.  I would be interested to see what he says about this.  Lack of sleep is no good for people with MS or neurological disorders.  It only symptoms--especially cognitive symptoms worse.

Best of wishes!

I've been having muscle spasms in my face--but in the cheek.  I called the doctor and it's related to trigeminal neuralgia.  Sorry about this.  Are you having any pain in your face or tongue?
