MRI results, am I happy or sad?

Merry CHRISTmas Eve to all!

Drumroll....MRI only showed arthritis and disc herniation in L5. I had my MRI last Thursday. The *only* reason I know my results, is because my little ones had to go to the family doctor due to bronchitis. After the visit, she asked me how I was doing and looked up my results, which were in Monday.

I understand my Neuro is busy, but I still haven't gotten a call from his office to give me results. I have left his MA two messages. He said to wait until after my MRI to schedule my next appointment. So, not only am I in limbo with my symptoms, but also with my Neurologist! GRR

I am seeking out another Neuro as soon as the holidays are over! Insurance has said before that they won't cover it, but I don't care anymore.

The good news, is a clear MRI...right? It's good?!? I am so glad they didn't really find anything, but I'm starving for answers =(.

I hope everyone has a great holiday weekend!

I feel your pain. In one way you have to be happy that you have a clear MRI but at the same time...still no solid answers. I too and in limboland with lots of lesions on the brain but negative LP and negative spinal MRI. I had the VEP and AEP tests done last week and have another brain MRI at month end to see if there are any changes to note. I guess we go from there. Just wanted to say I completely understand your happy/sad issue with these tests. Hang in there...we will get through this!

I *think* it was a 1.5T, I know for sure it wasn't 3T. Still haven't heard from my Neurologist. Calling tomorrow...AGAIN!

Hi Merry Christmas!

My brain MRI was also clean.  I'm scheduled for an MRI of my neck on Jan 5th...my neuro seems to think that will be normal also.  I went to see my neuro yesterday, and doesn't think I have MS because my brain MRI is normal even though I have many of the common MS symptoms.  Do you know how strong of an MRI you had?  Mine was a 1.5t, which is good, but the strongest one is a 3t.
