Hi Rae,
Things move so quickly on this board that it can be hard to get answered.
Sounds like you have a neuro who is at least looking into things. Do you know what the other two tests are?
If retinal detachment is found, you definitely need to see an opthamologist. This is considered very high priority because retinal detachment can result in blindness if it is not treated promptly.
Treatment is usually lazar surgery to make the retina adhere back in place.
If your neuro has not sent you to an opthamologist he needs to do so quick smart. Look up retinal detachment with your search engine and you;ll find heaps of info. In the meantime, don't do anything that involves straining as it can worsen the situation.
Let us know how you go! Retinal detachment is a medical emergency....

I am having the MRI of my orbits of my eyes done today at 2:45. This neru was an opthomologist neurologist. Good thing. My regular neru thinks everything has been just stress and anxiety.
This just sucks! I am suppose to start my new job at the post office on Feb. 4. If I have to have surgery that is going to screw everything up.

Hi Rae,
If you do have to have surgery, I think it is usually pretty straight forward and quick recovery. Good that you are seeing a neuroopthamologist!
Let us know how you go.
