Ms or lupus

I am 31 years old and have had back problems for years with  bulging disc and herniated one at L4-s1 with on and off sciatic nerve down my leg.
But with in the last year I started noticing other pain at first I thought it was related to my back. I would have really bad knee pain with no injury, no swelling, and no visible problem. Well that lasted a couple months them just went away., then it was my hips, then my wrist which my doc thought it was carpotunnel. So I had the nerve test done kin that and there was no damage to the nerves. Well I went in to see the doctor back in April because my toes were hurting really bad, swelling, turning purple and red. So he tested me for lupus that was negative. More recently the front of my ankle had been causing me tremendous pain. To the point where I can't stand for too long. Im sure it's a nerve thing because of the tingling and burning there and in my big toe. So I had a mri for ms and that was negative. I also  feel really lightheaded at times. I have allot of eye pain and headaches. I'm just trying to figure out what the next step is to get a diagnosis.
Thanks

Could your foot be plantar facitis? It feels like the foot is broken.

Thanks
Yeah I'm going to a pain clinic, but there not helping injury much. The foot thing is called raunauds phenomenon and It's a autoimmune thing. The front of my ankle is killing me daily, but there's no swelling, no bruising.....Lol...I'm so over it.

Hi and welcome,

I'm sorry but i'm not sure I can help much, i do know that "my toes were hurting really bad, swelling, turning purple and red" is not something related to MS and i think it's sounds likely to be a 'peripheral' nerve issue rather than central (MS).

All i can suggest is getting a referral to see a neurologist and or to a reputable pain clinic, pain clinics are also good with sorting out the causation of chronic pain, so i'd highly recommend you speak to your GP.

Cheers..........JJ
