nerve pain?

I have a question regarding a pain I have had off and on for yrs. I suddenly get what feels like lightning bolts.hitting my thighs. Usually only on one.side at a time. It comes in waves and is so.strong makes my body jerk.sometimes. It usually.lasts for.several days and.then is.gone. Anyone else experience.this?

Hi. I get quite a lot of strange and painful zaps. I figure it just goes with the territory. I don't take anything for this because it's just random and not every day.

But it you are really having trouble, your neuro can prescrible something for the pain.

Good luck to you,
ess

I actually do have this type of pain, but it strikes me in my netheregions - down below.  Mine aren't as painful as you describe, but still....

Wanted to say hi because I was born in Wichita.

Are you diagnosed?
