no just take flexeril. dilantin for pain, and ditropan. taking loratadine for allergy. nothing new.
My first thought was a reaction to a new drug. Are you on anything new?
Join the club! :-)) Blame it ALL on the MS or whatever you want. We ARE the sane ones, the ones who find this piece of golden treasure among the riff-raff of the WWW.
Have a great rest of the weekend!

Thanks Ren. oh heck must be blind too. :-)
Raz,
Sorry to hear of your symptoms. They sound aggravating at the very least. You do need to be careful of any progression of this numbness so that it doesn't interfere with swallowing and breathing. If this happens, call 911 and get some help pronto.
If you'd like a safer site to surf ( or maybe you don't ;-0), you can search just this "MS Community". there is a little green bar tucked neatly away just on top of the "Recent Activity" bar on the right side of the page. It only searches past responses. May not be as much fun but at least it's real information.

Shell, I did a scan and it found a virus! ha, not really but it was such an easy line I couldn't resist.
I did considered a reaction, but not taking anything that I haven't for years. the jaw numbness isn't anything new either. just never had my tongue go numb or feel heavy before.
Its not anything I'd bother a doctor about. no more then the face jaw numbness. I did the first time and was told that was normal for people with MS. It always goes away. Maybe the allergies are just aggravating it. I do know its not sinus because that feeling is always like my nose is broken. like getting hit between the eyes with a ball bat.
hey maybe i'll lose some pounds because i can't eat right. :-) nothing like walking like a drunk and now talking like I'm drunk. it was never a problem years ago, when I use to drink. ha. Irony is I'm headed to a 12 step workshop.
Have a good day Shell

Raz,
Hi Raz. Don't think your strange, but sure you had to weed through lots of strange net findings, lol You'd best run a scan on your computer to clean it, hahah kidding of course.
Seriously though, do keep an eye on it. Wouldn't be good if you were having a reaction to something - only mentioning this because your allergies are raging, etc.
Def. jot this down and if you head and face and tongue continue to feel this way (especially heavy and numb ), and can you get into the doc for a look?
Hoping it goes away for you! Be careful.
