...away until I was injected with a painkiller. I received a CAT scan, but was told that nothing abnormal was found. I was sent home shortly after with the diagnosis of a tension or migraine headache. The next day went by without an incident. However, the 2nd day after I was attempting to cough up some mucous when the same throbbing pain from a few days ago took over the back left side of my head. Since then, I've noticed slight discomfort in the base of my throat. My head hurt for the next few hours; but the pain lessened as time went on. Yesterday, my head hurt again, but it was not nearly as debilitating as it had been before. In fact, it didn't hurt very bad at all. But I did notice that my heart rate increased, and the pain seemed to be in correlation with my heartbeats. I have a very slight ringing in my ears, and some jaw discomfort as well. I'm afraid of it being an anuerysm or stroke. Does anyone have any knowledge on the subject, and does it sound like one of those ailments to you? Thanks for help.

Finally, I am in a band, and I used to "headbang" on stage. For those unfamiliar, headbanging is when you bob your head heavily in rhythm to the music. Now, for the past few years (since before the drugs) I have experienced a sensation in the back left side of my head where a shooting pain runs up the back of my skull. This used to only happen when I would turn my head too quickly or something, leading me to believe I had pinched a nerve. Again, this had been going on randomnly for the past few years. Last Saturday, however, was a slightly different story. I had just ejaculated, and out of nowhere a horrible pain took over the back left side of my head. It was worse than any past experience. My girlfriend took me to the ER, as I was afraid I was having an aneurysm. The head pain lessened as time when on, but didn't go away...
