stiffness in the body

my elder twin daughter is 9 months old.from the past 10 to 15 days she is getting excited at times n is acting very strange.she is making her fists stiff,her entire body stiff,biting her mandibles,she makes her neck stiff too...for a few seconds and then continues her noramal behaviour.from the past 2 days she is doing it repeatedly,like around 7 to 8 times within a minute and then it varies in time .she doesnt do it iin her sleep,but only when she is awake,is playing or sitting.could you please suggest me what could it be  and what precautions can i take to prevent that.

Hi,
If you feel that there is no gross abnormality with your daughter then probably it is normal. Kids from age of 9 months to 2 years do have temper tantrums and they usually show in such a way.
The best you can do is ignore her when she is doing this and just talk to her normally during such events.
Gradually you would find improvement in her.
If you are still worried than you can get 24 hours video EEG done to see if these are seizures.

thank u so much sir.i tried to tackle her the way had adviced to and she has decreased her behaviour.buts its not gone completely,she still behaves the same at times,just that the frequency has decreased.I pray there is nothing wrong with her.we are supposed to do an EEG on her on the 8th of april.hope that all turns out to be fine.
