Hi, I went to my doctor about migraines 12 weeks ago, and she sent me straight to ER with potential brain haemorrhage. In ER they done CT scan, and lumbar puncture. It took them 9 attempts to get the fluid, the local anesthetic didn't work at all I felt every bit of it. It was worse pain than child birth. I was then moved to sit upright on a chair for 2 hours to wait for a hospital bed for the night. The next 5 days were like hell, I couldn't sit up, walk, nothing. I lay flat in bed, only got up to pee. It's now 12 weeks later, and my back is in agony. It hurts my lower back if I walk around too much. But I have constant pain on the right side of my back, lower back. Just at the bottom of my ribs. It's so painful, when I take a deep breathe in, or put any type of strain on it. My doctor has just said I can be sore for months after.. but I don't feel like this pain is normal? I.e one side, and the position of the pain. Also the pain feels internal.. it isn't sore to touch, massaging doesn't help etc..
I'm genuinely afraid to go back to the hospital as the treatment I received was terrible. I'm terrified they'd keep me in overnight again.
I'm really writing this to see if anyone has experienced anything similar?
