Hi, Thank you for your question. It can be a sinus headache aggravated after sinusitis. It will be best that you consult an ENT specialist as well in order to reach at appropriate diagnosis and treatment. Hope this helps.
Thanks doctor. How rare are brain tumors in teens around my age? You mentioned MRI and CT scan which would be checking for pretty serious disorders. But no, its not one-sided, sometimes its on the right and sometimes its on the left and right and normally when that happens, my nose is congested on that side and i get some jaw pain. So maybe a sinus headache?..I don't know
@Aishu92
I know and it would only get worse because of the internet in which we can go and look up our symptoms just like that and see all these serious disorders come up. I think I need to stop researching my symptoms
Hi, Thank you for your question. Generally, one sided headache & orbital pain (eye pain) with nausea symptoms could be suggestive of migraine. The mainstay of the migraine treatment is always to identify the triggering factors and to avoid them. Triggering factors could be different foods such as cheese, chocolate, alcohol and even few fruits. Other factors that may induce your migraine attack may be pills, stress or depression, bright lights, loud noise and traveling. I would suggest careful record of events that have proceeded with the attack and avoid those factors. In addition, try to rest in a dark & quiet room, meditate, have a balanced diet and avoid taking unnecessary drugs. Even then if you suffer continuous headache, please arrange an appointment with a neurologist right away who will evaluate the further underlying disorders by clinically examine you & ordering MRI or CT scan here that may be the main reasons of your migraine attacks and can provide you an appropriate treatment. Hope this information proves helpful to you. Take Care & Regards!!!
I'm 18 yrs old too and I'm going through a phase of over anxiety. I kind of realize that it is because of the inquistive nature of our age groups. I'm a med student and each day I learn abt a new disease, I feel lyk I've the symptom too... Last month, it was about brain tumor...and this week about disc problems..I talked abt this to a few pople ..did some rssearching and figured it is just a mild form of psychosis.There's too much information given to us...abt diseases and we are really apprehensive . I figured we've to let go of worries and start to live and met our destiny...
