pin pricks sensation in one eye

Hello,
I don't know if this is the right forum or not.

i'm 26, female.  I suffered from daily migraines for years and ended up finally getting medication to stop them, now i 've been headache free since stopping the meds. (past history)

(current)  for the past couple years i have had a stuttering problem along with being unable to say a word i am trying to say.  It is though i am saying it in extreme slow motion only struggling to make anything come out.

And lately for the past couple months i have been having these painful sensations in my left eye as though someone just gave me a shot in it, well a couple shots i should say, the sensation hits a couple times before i can rub it and try to stop it.  It happens quite a lot throughout the day, i would say like 10 to 15.  During an eye exam i shut one eye and had double vision with the other.

Anyways, i was wondering if anyone else had this pin ***** sensation in their eye.. not above, below... but on the eyeball itself, it happens usually when i just turn my eyes to look at something, but it also comes randomly and always in the same spot.

Any insight as to what it is would be appreciated as i do not have medical insurance and can't at the moment afford to get my eyes looked at.

I am 60. For the past year, approximately, I have the sudden sensation of a pin or needle pricking one of my eyes.  This happens in either eye and in different spots on my eyes. Happens several times a month. I have no other eye problems or symptoms.

Hi there. I understand your state of mind. The pin ***** sensation in your left eye by an ophthalmologist. This could be episcleritis or uveitis. This is inflammation of the layer surrounding the sclera and the uveal inflammation. This could be part of visual migraines causing severe pain in the eye. You might need to restart drugs from migraines for relief of these visual symptoms. You will need to consult a neurologist. Hope this helps. Take care.
