Indentations on my head. Could they be helped?

I'm sixteen now, but when I was about 6 or so, i fell and hit my head pretty hard. Hard enough to knock me unconcious for a few moments and leave a large flat spot with indentations on it on the back of my head. Also, on the top of my head, there is an indentation that hurts and continues to hurt as a head ache or migraine if pressure is put on it. Could that be where my skull was supposed to grow together but didn't? either due to my head injury or not...? and could this be helped..? because ever since then, ive gotten constant migraines and my head hurts often. though, ive never had it looked at by anyone. please help if you can!

First of all, don't panic about the bump on your head :) Its normal. Most people naturally have bumps on their heads, along with indentations, from the skull fusing itself together and hardending. I don't think there is anything that can be done about an old indentation, though. Doctors would have probably fixed the problem if it would have affected you.

And you would know if something did happen when you hit your head. There would have been unconciousness, memory loss, confusion, possibly even slurred speech. Since you didn't mention any of these, I'm going to guess they didn't happen to you, and that you turned out all right after hitting your head.

For the migraines, take Excendrine Migraine. That stuff is like Jesus in a bottle, I swear. Also, try an ice pack sometimes, and lay down in your room with the lights off. A small nap can do wonders.

If it really starts to concern you, talk to your doctor.
