Miller Fisher Syndrome
Does anyone have experience with Miller Fisher Syndrome? We have just been notified that our niece has developed this condition and would like to know more about it. Many thanks for any information or personal experiences.
It was assumed it started with a viral infection, but none had been noted. Before the illness she being treated with chemotherapy for breast cancer, so her immune system was severely compromised. Her legs are paralysed and she is suffering from glaucoma. There was a delay in her diagnosis.
