Neurology

Hi I am 23 years old and have been almost too healthy up until the past two years. I was just diagnosed with sinus tachycardia and am on inderal for about a month. It has taking them two years to diagnose me with that. All the dr's kept saying it was anxiety/panic until they did further testing due to me being so persistent.  I m now starting to develop partial seizures but all my eeg's come back normal so the next step is an ambulatory EEG. I am constantly moody, tired, irritable, and my mood changes very quickly from happy to crying, to mad at the world. All the doctors keep saying they are atypical migraines and the inderal should also help with those. Well, I don't believe migraines can cause my entire upper body to contract and to immediately get warm sensations over my body plus tachycardia.  I ran track, was a cheerleader and a gymnast my entire life. however a few years ago i fell on my head during a back hand spring my entire body was over my head and i couldn't move my neck for weeks. My neck also crack and pops with little or no movement. I have had Mri's on my neck and they all come back negative. I have also had CTs with negative results. Is there any advice you can give to me as to where else I can go for answers. I am 23 years old and am loosing jobs, friends and hope from fear of something happening to me in public.

eagerly anticipating your advice.

Hi,

How are you?
It is quite possible that you suffered brain injury from the accident. Seizures can develop immediately after brain injury or can be delayed for months.
Even mild to moderate injuries can cause seizures.
Please get the ambulatory eeg done as soon as possible and continue your medication for sinus tachycardia. Take care!
