Normal Oxygen (SAT) reading in 4yr old?

My 4yr old son has had 2 ear infections, enlarged adenoids, breaths through his mouth, and is a noisy sleeper, sometimes snores..he has been to the ENT 3xs.  The last time we were there I asked about getting a sleep apnea test performed.  Our ENT said we would have to be referred out of the area, and there would be a long wait time.  He suggested we have our sons adenoids, tonsils removed, and have tubes inserted.

In the meantime, I scheduled an appt for an EEG with a pediatric neurologist to see what his oxygen readings are.  This was just done this morning, the technician could not tell us anything, but on a form she wrote SAT 95-96.  Is that ok?  Is that considered normal/lo-high??  I'm going crazy, because the last thing we want is surgery for him, but if his oxygen levels are low--is that due to the enlarged adenoids??  Could someone please help me understand this?

Hey Pamela.

SAT 95-96 probably is shorthand  for the dept there. Oxygen Saturation Percentage.
It does not seem to be at any critically low level at all , however, have this verified by someone specializing in this field.
It is very normal to have concerns, specially when you get very few clear answers.
Please do not consider any invasive procedures, before ensuring they are the most viable options for your boy.
Medical symptomology unfortunately addresses, usually, only the surface.
There are possible natural treatments that would take care of the root causes.
Enlarged adenoids are somewhat common, and there are remedies that many people use with good success.
Does your son like sweets? Was he breastfed? For how long? Formulas? What Type?
Nutrition at present? Antibiotics? Digestive or G.I issues?
Have his Magnesium levels checked PROPERLY! Blood testing for Mg is usually not
accurate as only 1% of Mg is in the blood and 99% outside it.
Transdermal  mg delivery is efficient and non-invasive, as the skin absorbs what it needs.

for details and other holistic info. The neurology community is not the appropriate venue
for holistic and alternative.  I will respond promptly.
Blessings to you and your family,
