Spinal Headache aftermath

About a month ago, I had my baby girl and asked for an epidural but the dr. went too far and got into my spinal fluid.   A couple days after the procedure I developed a severe spinal headache with neck stiffness and humming in my left ear.  I also had some dizziness that went with it.  The severe headache went away after a week but now (5 weeks later) I still have stiffness in my neck, mild headaches daily, a clogged feeling in my left ear and ringing in my left ear.  Could this still have to do with the lumbar puncture?  What are your suggestions on this matter.

This is what I am feeling after my first blood patch for CSF leak.  Go to the ER.  at least I now know I am not going crazy.  The first blood patch must not have worked.  I have all of your symptoms except it is my right ear and it is driving me crazy.  Do not let them give you another Lumbar puncture to see the pressure.  My first blood patch saved my life.  Good luck.

I have talked with the Dr. that administerd the spinal and he referred me to my family Dr.  I went there and he didn't see anything wrong with my ear and sent me home.  Which Dr. should I contact?

Hello.

There is a possibility of a CSF leak or infection. You will have to get it examined by the doctor again. If leak is found, a blood patch will have to be used.
