my girlfriend has similar issues and says she can always eat oatmeal... its her warm comfort food when shes very anxious...

i know you can gain alot of weight from eating pasta's and pizza but i'm sure thats not the healiest way to do it...

but, if i were you i'd see a nutritionist and your family dr for a healthy plan.

God's blessings to you... try to give all your worries to the Lord because he loves you and cares for you... he will help us in all our troubles... praying to Him and giving Him your problems and asking for His help will take the mountain of care of your back as you trust in Him for His help... He really loves you and would love to help you in all this stuff...

praying for you and hoping for you to start feeling better soon,
sandi

HI Hollie- Just happened to come across your post. I am a registered dietitian. It does seem that you may have some other things going on right now .Your weight is at the lower end of the normal range and I certainly wouldnt want you to lose any more. I would  first address your concerns about your medications with your doctor. Maybe they could change them if they are not helping or are causing undesirable side effects that are interfering with you being able to eat.

Next If you are having a hard time eating I would try smaller frequent meals with nutritious choices such as Peanut butter and crackers, yogurt and fruit, crackers and cheese, cottage cheese and fruit, sandwiches and things that are easy to digest.I dont see that you are getting any protein or fruits and vegetables in your diet.

If your appetite is still not improving you can try a nutritional supplement such as boost or ensure. ( you can also buy the store brand such as walgreens or Sams club- it is pretty much the same thing and much cheaper.

Also a Multivitamin would not hurt. If you are having nausea , take it with food in the evening or try a chewable. Best wishes and hope you are feeling better.
