avoiding dairy products

I used to avoid dairy products(except buttermilk) and added sugars as far as possible in view of my family history of cholesterol and diabetes.Still I am on statin 10 mg on alternate days. Now I have perfect lipid profile.Does the complete avoidance of dairy products have any adverse effects on my system.

It is unnatural for adult humans to consume milk.  It is unnatural for any species to consume the mammary secretions of another species.

While there are beneficial nutrients in animal milk, there's nothing you can't get elsewhere.  Moreover, there are experts who tell us that the acidifying effect of dairy causes damage to the bone-making cells, over time, ultimately leading to osteoporosis.  Around the world, societies that consume virtually no dairy have almost no incidence of osteoporosis, while rates of osteoporosis are highest in places that consume the most dairy.
