Iliopsoas and abdominal pain

Dear Community I hope you doing well.
Since may I have had issues with pain and not it came to stomach pain. Next to my belly button about 4 fingers distance to the right. I had a severe strain with the Iliopsoas muscle on the right side. The pain when from the groin all the way to the abdomen and back. Now I feel better. My questions is, whenever I strain or carry something it hurts. The doctors have looked for hernias and got a back and pelvic mri. Saying that it referred pain from the scar. Have you had anything similar?
Thank you
