I accidently got my cast wet!

Well this is off topic, but I broke my tibia while horseback riding, tonight i was showering and water leaked through my cast and collected at my heel. Im worried it wont be able to support my tibia. Im kinda freaked out, and need to know if it will be ok. It drenched, like how u get water in your shoes and it squishes? Thats what mine is doing. If u have any advice please let me know!

Same. Tonight I got my leg cast wet and I just got a new one. All that I'm doing is putting a hair dryer on high with hot air coming out. It does feel that it's drying but I will take time. Now I need to cool it off withncold air. But it feels wet again. So idk what to do bcnclearly I cant get a new one so any ideas will be extremely useful.

There are walking casts available that will pretty much do the same job as the plaster ones, the nice thing is while bathing you can take them off.  If you have a stable fracture try this little guy out.

Certainly make life easier.
