Is therapy the normal course of action for a Reverse Hills-Sach Lesion?

Nov, 30th I was in a accident at work.  I fell and landed on my left shoulder.  The occupational medicine Dr. ordered an MRI arthrogram and followed up with them today.  The report from the MRI showed evidence of a recent Posterior Dislocation with the positioning being normal now.  All tendons and muscles were ok with no evidence of tears.  The report stated that I had a reverse Hill-Sach Lesion.  The occupational medicine Dr. didnt even take a look at the MRI and just went off of the report.  They are recommending 3 weeks of therapy 2-3X a week.  Is this something that therapy could help, or should I have a orthopedic look at it further?

My shoulder feels loose as in it feels like it could dislocate at any moment.  I have limited motion, along with my shoulder clicking and popping.  During movement, it feels like something catches on the inside and severe pain shoots through my shoulder.
