Dear bestcadet,
Hello again!
Stop cycling or any form of exercise in the knee and rest and relax for couple of days. If you still have the locking then I guess you need to visit your orthopedician for proper examination for diagnosis of the present problem.
Take care!
doctor yesterday i was feling like locking in my knee...i m little worried wether i have recovered fully or not.plz help me
Knee pain is due to many problems. Is it due to arthritis? Proper diagnosis is required based on X-ray/MRI and then the course of treatment can be discussed.
If you are consulting him to a proper Orthopaedician have faith in the Physician and follow the advice properly. Take care!
thank you doctor for your suggestions....doctor my father has been suffering from knee pain for a year....doc had advised for high tibial osteotomy(hto).if you can please throw a light on it
If her Uric acid level is fine then she has no gout.
Tell her to use proper slippers/shoes/footwear.
Check for routine blood sugar(Diabetes Mellitus) and also for blood pressure.
Try some vitamin B12 and if it does not help take her to a Physician for examination and diagnosis. Take care!
thanks sir ,for your suggestion...my mother(48) used to feel pain below her feet for 4 to 5 months..uric acid is all right ..if u can tell something about it
Good ! cycling is a form of Physiotherapy and also consult a Pysiotherapist in your area to teach you some strengthening exercises which you can slowly add while you feel good after cycling.
Your surgeon can hep you find one, Take care!
the x-rays were fine..i am doing cycling for the last 3 weeks....but still sometimes i feel some strain in the knee.and pain has not get yet....doctor had told me to continuing cycling.sir please told me from when i will be able to physical exercises
Just go for a diagnostic scan to see if everything is fine in the knee after the arthroscopy. If you have perfect results you would be fine in couple of weeks. You can also talk with your surgeon to start some physiotherapy. Take care!
