Old Fracture. New Pain

Hi,
I fractured my right Tibia and Fibula over 5 years ago now. It has never been the same but i have always been able to WALK without pain.
I just had a baby 4 weeks ago and all of a sudden i get this sharp pain where my old fracture was when i walk and it wont go away. I have not injured my leg since nor put on weight? Please help... Does anyone know what could cause this?
Want to be able to walk properly :(

Hello!

Child birth and the period after delivery can be very tiring and you have to recollect if you had any direct impact on your right leg during the delivery process.

You have to rest and avoid exertion and weight bearing and take some NSAIDs such as ibuprofen or naproxen for few days.

If the pain continues then you have to consider X-ray scans and an examination near an orthopedician.

Take care!

Dont recall any impact during labour. Just weird how it came on so suddenly? My original fracture was not aligned properly (my foot pointed out) and had to be corrected a year later. It is still slightly out. Could this also cause pain around the old fracture?
