Orthopaedic/spinal

For 8 years i have had a slipped disc on L4//5 vertebrae. Recently i have been having moderate pain. I have had 2 nerve root injections in the past;  do i have another nerve root injection or an mri scan first,please advise

Thank you for your expert advice. I have seen my orthopedician and am due an MRI scan soon.

Hi there!

Well, without knowing the relevant clinical details or a detailed clinical evaluation, it would be difficult to comment on the situation. If the last MRI scan was done over 2 years back a review radiological examination may be suggested, especially in view of the deteriorating symptoms. I would suggest discussing the situation and the suggested management plan in detail with you treating orthopedician.
