Smashed elbow needs help

hi,

well.... I had a few injurys in hockey... smashed my elbows... I've done it before and everytime it has happened it gets more calcium or cartilage build up I think... well last time it happened on my right elbow, it swelled up, the swelling didnt go down for a few weeks... I should have got it drained but I figured it would heal better if i didnt... unfortunately by the time the swelling went down I had more calcium or cartilage build up...
Is there anything I could do to bring it back down so at least both elbows look the same? maybe surgery?
please respond.
thank you.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello!

You can put on muscle (exercise and diet) and correct the difference in your hands especially around elbows. Bone fractures and healing is a natural process and you cannot change its course of healing. Plastic surgery is not recommended to bony injuries.

Talk with a local orthopedician and he will guide you as it is very difficult to comment without examining.

Take care!
