Hi. So, the title of your post is what the x ray said? I hate when doctors don't sit down and explain things. Sorry to any doctors reading this but that should be part of any test or imaging we do. But it looks like they think you are having a muscle spasm. (I'm sure you thought the same). The physioligicc lumbar lordosis is the inward curved area of your spine at the bottom. You are supposed to have counterbalanced curves and yours has straightened, I believe is what the imaging is showing. Did you have any injuries or traumatic events a month ago?

So, they say the best things to do to help with this (as the straightening of the lumbar lordosis can cause varying degrees of pain due to muscles tightening or spasming around it) . . . muscle relaxers but also massage. A chiropractor may help you. But a medical massage is fantastic for situations like this in my opinion. Your doctor may be able to recommend someone for this. Stretching! Gentle stretching is also helpful and important. A physical therapist is good at directing you to safe stretches to do. Does your insurance cover physical therapy? You might get an orthopedic belt or brace until it is better. And swimming is a good way to get exercise, stretch and strengthen the area.
