Will i need surgery? High grade quad tendon tear and ruptured rectus femoris?

As above? I have a high grade quad tendon tear and the superficial component of the rectus femoris has completely ruptured. I am waiting to see the specialist which is a few weeks away. I also have high grade tear of the vastus lateris. I was able to walk after 3 days, its been 10 days now i still dont have full movement in my leg. I have been taking it really easy.  Thanks all
