I'm 23 year old female. I twist my ankle on 9/25/12 took x ray on 10/2,the result are normal. I continue to walk and work. 11/2/12 took MRI, the result is Bone Marrow Edema of the talus, in the anterior hald of the talus, with trabecular thickening. Edema is most pronounced in the inferior talus adjacent to the talocalcaneal joint space and 1cm edema is seen in posterolateral talus, adjacent to the talofibular joint space. The talar dome is intact, and the ankle mortise is uniform..and small ankle effusion by the first metatarsophalangeal joint.. 11/5, went to see Orthopedic Surgeon doctor tells me go home, rest take CT. No prescription. On 11/26 I went to take CT test on same day he just look at the film the report is not out yet and he said i can get physical therapy treatment electric stimulation and massage done because of weakness of foot. After I got my physical therapy done,go home my foot swell with sore until second day it still swelling and sore. At third day this symptoms goes down but still sore when i touch it. I want to know if that's normal or not? I email him on the following day after i got my physical therapy treatment, he said stop PT. But other say I have to continue PT treament
