It started up again, And my doc says that I've pulled a muscle. I'm well verse in my otho. problems but can't get help, I'm going get another doc. this wants me to locate a specialist and then give the info to his nurse, so his can give me a referral. but first I can't afford another surgery. I'm a caregiver for my father, I also have a teenager w/special needs. (one thing I do know.painkillers don't work very well the gov't only allows for minimal care. (I'm cook county IL.) I'm thinking that I have a pinched nerve because its spreading to other muscles, tendons. I'm a doctor but this forum helps figure out what kind of info. to supply to a specialist.
thanks for helping me think.
Hello,
Tennis elbow is also called lateral epiconylitis and the clear symptoms are:
Pain about 1-2 cm down from bony area at the outside of the elbow (lateral epicondyle) and also you have pain when you press just below or outside the lateral epicondyle near your elbow.
You can have weakness in the wrist with difficulty doing simple tasks. Opening a door or shaking hands with someone becomes difficult
You can have pain on the outside of the elbow when the hand is bent back at the wrist against resistance.
You can have pain on the outside of the elbow when trying to straighten the fingers against resistance.
Follow up with your orthopedician as proper examination is required.
Take care!
