Hello!

She can try conservative treatment. She should wear a knee brace for a period of 4-6 months and follow up with physiotherapy to strengthen her ACL.

She should try not to flex her left knee joint completely and she should not exert herself or walk on hard or uneven surfaces till her ligament heals.

Grade I or II injuries should heal with conservative treatment and if her ligament does not heal you should consider surgery arthroscopically.

Take care!
