I HAVE MY KNEE OPERATED 6 WEEKS AGO BECAUSE OF RAPTURED TENDON. I JUST WANT TO ASK F THEIR IS A POSSIBILITY THAT IT WOULD RAPTURE AGAIN?

Is their a possibility that my tendon will rapture again when i am doing pt?Because i'm afraid to flex it thinking that maybe it would rapture again. How long would it take me to walk normally??

Hello!
In those with certain diseases such as gout and hyperparathyroidism; tendon rupture may result. Other general causes are direct trauma and decrease of blood supply.
You should be careful and should avoid any injuries, avoid direct stress to your quadriceps tendon and also should avoid steroid injections. Avoid simultaneous quadriceps contraction and also stretching of the muscle.
