My MRI Report

My MRI states T11-T12 demonstrates an extradural defect in the left paracentral region. There is extension with slight impression into the dural sac and left formaminal narrowing. Findings are probably related to a protruded disc and the disc space itself shows some degeneration and dehydration .
IMPRESSION : T11-T12 DEMONSTRATES DEGENERATION OF THE DISC WITH A LEFT PARACENTRAL DISC PROTRUSION WITH SOME EXTENSION INTO THE LEFT RECESS AND LEFT FORAMINA.
Can someone please explain this in terms that are more easily understood?

Thank you. I'm seeing 3 different drs on this my PCP, a neuro surgeon, and pain management but none of them will straight up tell me what the report means. I have had 2 injections and am on pain meds at this time. Yesterday morning since I woke up I'm having some very weird feelings. Its like my whole body tingling and I cant tell if it has a center point. My PCP is out until next week. This is scaring me it almost like I get light headed and am weak. II'm starting to think I may have to take a trip to ER to see if they can do some quick test to find out if it has to do with my back or not. Thank you for taking your time to answer my question.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hi!
In simple terms you have a herniated disc at T11-12 that extends more to the left side and probably presses on the left spinal nerve at that level. This can cause pain along the path of the nerve.

Treatment involves various combinations of treatments like pain killers, physiotherapy, spinal manipulation, traction, and corsets. Please consult your doctor regarding this. Hope this helps. Take care!
