Its just aggravating when you go to a doctor and because you are only 27 years old at the time he makes it out like its nothing to worry about because you are young.
I lost my job so i dont have health insurance anymore. Thats why i never went back. The doctor i followed up with before said there was a possibility it was a cyst with a blood clot and would just go away. He said to come back in about three months and see if it was still there, and i never went back. He said he could manually feel the mass, yet anytime I have had a pap since then the doc i see now has never felt it and I havent told her that they found the mass, because im afraid she will tell me i have to have it checked out again and im kinda scared they might find that its still there.
Again, you should follow up asap. Is there a reason you did not follow up a couple of years ago? What have the doctors who were involved advised you to do? The only way to know for sure if it is benign or not, is to have them do a biopsy on the mass. You should see a GYN/Oncologist for the surgery.

What did the doctor tell you when he reviewed the report with you? It seems that follow-up should have been done to investigate the mass. Don't delay and go in for a complete gyne work up. Marie
