My advice is to go to a -gyn-oncoligist. Get a referral if necessary from your doctor. Do NOT let this go. You should get a CA-125 bloodtest, as well as a pap smear and a CT scan if necessary. There is definitely cause to be concerned and you need a specialist to determine what the symptoms are caused from. Many of the symptoms sound like ovca, but don't jump the gun until you get test results.

hi

hello - i was here looking for information myself, but maybe i can try to help you. the first thing to do is go to your OB/GYN! if you don't have one yet, since you are young and not on the pill, get a referral from your doctor and make an appointment. ask to speak to a nurse if they try to push your appointment out too far, beyond, say, next week - they will get you in sooner under special circumstances :) have a PAP smear done, if you haven't already, which is a standard GYN procedure (yearly) along with a pelvic exam. also, ask for an UltraSound - both outside and inside - this gives a much better view of the ovaries and what is going on. remember that the Tech probably isn't going to tell you much, either - they are just information gatherers... and they aren't experts on reading the ultrasound. they also don't want to freak you out, since they can't talk about treatment options, etc, if they do find something. you will get your ultrasound results back from your doctor within a week, so there may even be more information there for you.
the most important thing is, if you feel that something isn't quite right - you need to keep pushing until you have a conclusive diagnosis. Hopefully it's nothing, but at least you have an explanation and piece of mind! To give you an idea of where I'm coming from, I'm 27 and 'healthy' except that I am going to be getting surgery next week to have 2 ovarian cysts removed - they were only found because I pushed for an ultrasound after my pap came back normal, and I knew I didn't feel quite right. Best of luck to you and your situation!
anybodies help will be greatly appreciated. xxx
