Your doctor may not have the pathology report back . I had my last surgery on a Friday, and my pathology wasn't released until the following Thursday. My 1st laproscopic surgery, the surgeon told me the same day it was cancer. There is an estimate that 87% of pelvis masses are benignn and 13% malignant. Try not to worry until you get your report.
A pelvic mass can be an enlarged phallopian tube, a liquid filled cyst, and infection or many other things.....it certainly doesn't mean cancer. It is scary, I know , but remember most "masses" are benign. Wednesday will be here before you know it and you will then know what your next step is. Please keep us posted and try not to worry until you have something to worry about!
Peace.
