Hi Everyone,
Just wonder if anyone has any insight. I had my right ovary removed two years ago. I had no issues until January 2016 when on the first day of my menstrual cycle, I got really sharp pains on the my right side. They were so bad I thought it may be my appendix. They were short, very intense, lasting about 30 seconds each. The pain would start, then subside for a few minutes, then come right back. It lasted about two hours. I had also worked out that day so also thought maybe I over did it. I decided to wait until next month to see what happened. Once again, on the first day of my cycle, same issue. Pain was so bad I almost had to pull over driving. Almost like contractions. The problem is that I had my ovary removed in 2014 on that side so I am baffled. I could maybe understand if still had an ovary it may be a cyst, but it's gone! I have a regularly scheduled appointment with my GYN in April, but just wondering if anyone else has experienced this after having an ovary removed? Thanks.
