hi, my mum died two years ago with overian cancer sat she was here two weeks later gone!  i was seen by an genetasist and with my family history ive been told im high risk breast cancer / overian cancer, i saw my consultant fri and he is going to do a laperoscopy, histoscapy and insert a marina system, i have asked for an historectomy and he wount do one becouse i would have to go on h r t and i carnt becouse im high risk breast cancer!!!!!!!!

I am curious.  What is a marina system?  My mother had ovarian cancer and died shortly after diagnosis, too.  I understand how anxious you must feel.  Take care, Marie

first what is your age.  also being check every 6 months would help plus a tansvaginal ultrasound.   would like more info
