pain cause cyst on left ovary

hi,
i m sulbha. i m 31 yrs old,married,having 1 daughter, 3years & 8 months old.
i have a cyst problem on my left ovary. In the month of sept.2007 i had a surgery (Laproscopy) to removed the cyst.after surgery we moved from Florida to Moline,IL.  after surgery 2 months i was better. but after 2 months again my pain started cause of cyst. i went to doctor. doctor suggest me to do the sonogram. i did it. but he found the same problem. he suggest me to start the Birth control pills. i started from February, & its  continue, but still pain is there. normally my pain starts from morning & it goes by afternoon. but these 2-3 days my pain is worst. the full day i have to suffer that pain. i m taking Advil for pain. but its works only for 3-4 hrs. again its start. i m scared to take more pain killer tablets. i m confused what to do. if i remove the cyst again it will come. or remove the ovary. but in future it will be difficult for me for 2nd baby. so pl.suggest me what i can do for my pain.

When you remove one ovary the other ovary takes over for the loss. There has been plenty of women here on this forum that has conceived with only one ovary.  Maybe see about getting a second opinion from a specialist. Preferably a gyn/onc. They are the experts in the female area.
