yes....I am so miserable and cannot wait to have this one out.....two prior ruptured with surgery needed.....they are not plesant
I Currently have a cyst in my left ovary and it is going on 3 weeks. Am experiencing pain and fatigue and inflammation all over.. Not interested in having children. Will attempt to work in a couple days. have appointment in two weeks. Hope they will suggest full hysterectomy. Bc afraid of after effects of coming off pills if I had my tubes tied. Been on the birth control pills for 16 yrs.
thank you so much for your supportive comments. I'm worried about post surgery, as I only have my husband to look after me - men aren't great at nursing and it also is Easter holidays from school which means our 3 young children will be home all week, too! But I've got to trust it will work out. Who knows, I've already been in pain and very limited in what I can do for so many weeks that post op might be just a bit more of the same, and not nearly as bad I think?! Will I be able to move around myself?
I actually HOPE he will take the ovary out - I'm finished having children, and I don't ever want to go through this pain again! I'm sooo glad and relieved to hear that many of you feel so much better after surgery ,I really can hardly wait, even though i'm of course nervous about the whole event, too.
I've cooked some bran muffins and some brown rice with salmon to put in the freezer, and I'll try and do one or two other things if I feel up to it. (My husband is wonderful but his idea of cooking is fish and chips! I know I need to be eating healthily to aid in my recovery. I also ordered a new flat microwavable hot water bottle after reading advise here.
Any other words of hope greatly appreciated, thank you!
Yes its very normally what your going through. I was the same for yrs i had the pain! I would pass out with it be sick with it, it was horrible docs thought it was IBS once the cyst was removed I felt sooo much better, my cyst when cut out was 13cm big and i lost my left ovary which was a huge shock, but the pain was awful and i felt so much better after surgery. I hope you get it sorted soon, just take it easy for now.
I'm so sorry to hear you have been in so much pain. Cyst can be very painful and you will feel so much better after you have your surgery. I just had a 5cm endormetrioma cyst removed along with my right ovary on Thursday April 1st and even though I'm still uncomfortable from the surgery, I am already feeling almost 100% better than what I did. Take it easy from now till your surgery and then you will need to take it easy for a few weeks after your surgery but you will start to get your life back and start to feel normal again. Ask your family to be patient with you....it can be very stressful moreso when they don't understand the pain you are in. I am very thankful that my family was very supportive and understanding. I've been living with endometriosis for almost 18 years and had a partial hysterectomy 7 years ago and now I've been dealing with cyst and ovary pain for the past 6 months and my family has stepped right in and helped me any way they could. The only advise I can give you is to rest when you need to rest, don't push yourself too much, eat healthy and be patient.
Please take care of yourself and let us know how your surgery goes. Wishing you all the best.
It is a choice and a responsibility to take care of your body.
These processed hydrogenated crap foods , and it
isn't that the chocolate is bad it is the oils , and soy they are putting in.
Remember when everyone got sick from the peanut butter?
Well just think the reason women are now getting these cyst is
the same reason people got sick from the peanut butter.
Its all posioned food, but this is the advice of food that is still good and untainted.
I know how you feel. Bed ridden with the ripping, pulling , and stabbing pain.
I had 2 5cm cyst on both of my ovaries.
I didn't have any of my ovaries removed, and I hope that doesn't happen to you.
The only thing I would like to tell you or any woman going through this... PLEASE.. don't eat chocolate anymore , and get on the adkins diet with fruits ,vegatables, and meat.
Eat right.
Get rid of all junk food with transfat.
Get rid of everything with hydrogenated oils/
Get rid of all processed stuff with those hidden transfat oils.
Including soybean oils, and soy it self.
Eat a lot of chicken.
Get rid of sodas as well.
Get on juices ,and lots of water.
If you want a real snack eat yogurt.
You will feel so much better , and it helps even when your on the birth control.
I do not know about the pain, but I know that when I had my cyst I was tired ALL of the time. This is normal. When you have your surgery, you will feel much better! Just rest after you have your surgery do not do ANYthING for 3 weeks. I did too much too early and I am paying for it now. Hope this helps
