Is a "little" overweight really just a little?  If so,  it should not affect things that much.  If you are dead earnest about getting pregnant, go see a reproductive endocrinologist and get a full workup.  They should be able to give you some serious suggestions.

Believe it or not the weight thing can really affect fertility!  Consider how much the lack or abundance of fat in women is tied in to whether or not certain parts of a women's body go online.
