Laproscopic ovary and fallopian tube removal.? Did you go home same day?

So I have my surgery tomorrow morning and was told I should go home that day. It's going to be laproscopic of right ovary and tube removal. There will be three small cuts.

? is you that have had them..did you really go home that day? I had a laproscopic appendectomy and stayed three days. ....dont understand why it's different when its literally the same surgery?

Thanks!

Hi ladies. Well I had my surgery yesterday at 10am. I have Fallopian tube and RIght oavry remved. Along with an 8cm cyst on it. And a ton of blood that filled up my pelvis.

I ended up staying untill 12pm today. I was very dizzy and my blood pressure kept dropping. I'm home now and I'm very sore..havent taken pain meds since 7am. Just rying to relax!

Thank you all for thoughts and prayers..i'm just glad it's done and over with!xx

I have had 3 different laproscopic surgeries, and I went home the same day every time.  My sister in law actually just had this done today, and she was home in about 2 hours after her surgery and is doing very well.  Good luck tomorrow and I will say a prayer for you.  Keep us posted on how you are doing.

Many ladies here reported going home the same day, yes.

Maybe because the appendix is part of the digestive system and needs further monitoring?

The female reproductive parts are not as alarming to remove when done laparoscopically.
